luna birthday gif - Mariposa

well, another one of the gifts I have to do this month and the month after. this time goes for ... next febrery 10th will be her birthday so I drew this pic for her ^^ last year I was not in time and I had lots of troubles, but this year, althought I put a lot of effort into it, It didn't gave me so much troubles... perhaps I am improving, after all... ^^
The pic I drew last year for luna's birthday was one of the reasons I didn't cg so much last year... as I told before I had lots of troubles that time, and I didn't liked the result...

about the character: Mariposa LaFlor
this time I choosed to draw her fancharacter Mariposa LaFlor, from rockman X universe ^^ anyway, I put this one in anime cuz is a luna's character, althougth is based in rockman x drawing stile ^^. as some of you people know, Mariposa have my favorite female reploid design so far and I love to draw her, although is some time since I last draw her... this is one of the posterior Mariposa designs that Luna drew after I met her in aim... in this years Mariposa somehow became also my character and I was able to learn lots of things while drawing her ^^. so far this desing and the one I saw when I first saw her are my favorites. Ah! and I like this character not cuz she is suposed to be spanish like me... before knowing that I liked her a lot, and was quite a surprise to find out that Mariposa is from the same country that me ^.-

about the pic itself
well, it take me about 3 complete days to finish it... I drew it in a couple of hours this weekend (when I had free time, cuz I also had to go to the job). it take me an hour to ink it and a day and half to cg and create the background... while doing the inking in open canvas my tablet just broken, so I had to ink it in the "real world". So cuz of that this is my second try into inking with my "brush pen" (that I was able to buy thanks to calaveraspain ^.- thanks buddy!). my first try was my christmas pic (but I didn't upload it in deviantart neither sheezyart, so don't try to search it in my account), and I must say that I had lots of doubst into trying it again... luckily the results were quite good, in comparation with the lineart that I used to do with rotrings pens... I really think I will ink more pics with it! (actually I will have to, cuz I can't ink properly with the mouse ^^U it take me ages!).
I really forget how paintful cging with mouse was... really, now I can't use my tablet anymore I can see how uselful it was... anyway, it served me well, and althought I want to get another one... I will try to fix the old one as well ^^
I created the background as well, using photoshop. the moon was quite easy, just clouds things and the spherice filter, in fact the sky itself was quite easy... I used a similar background style that in my last cged pic, the one of the angel, and thats because I have as a wallpaper a pic that have this kind of background... I really loved it and I tried to make it in my style, but is so hard! I will try it more next time ^^

bien, otro de los regalso ke tengo ke hacer este mes y el siguiente. Esta vez va para ... el proximo 10 de febrero sera su cumpleaños asi ke le he dibujado esto de regalo ^^ el ultimo año no lelgue a tiempo y tube muchos problemas, pero este año, aunke he puesto mucho esfuerzo en el, no me ha doado tantos problemas... quizas este mejorando, despues de todo... ^^ el dibujo que hice el año pasado para su cumpleaños fue una de las razones por las ke no cgee demasiado este ultimo año (y en realidad la mayoria de los ke leeis esto en castellano me conoceis desde hace menos de un año asi ke seguramente no lo sabreis... yo antes solia subir todos mis dibujos cgeados ^^)... como he dicho antes, tube muchos problemas esa vez y no me gsuto el resultado...

sobre el personaje: Mariposa LaFlor
esta vez elegi dibujar su fanpersonaje Mariposa LaFlor, del universo Rockman X ^^ de todas formas, lo he puesto en anime porque es un personaje de luna, aunque esta basado en el estilo de dibujo de rockman X ^^. como algunos de vosotros ya sabreis, Mariposa tiene mi diseño de chica reploid favorito hasta ahora, y me encanta dibujarla, aunque hace tiempo ke no lo hago... este es el diseño posterior de Mariposa ke Luna dibujo tiempo despues ke nos conociesemos en aim... en estos años, Mariposa de alguna forma se convirtio tambien en un personaje mio y aprendi mcuahs cosas mientras la dibujaba ^^. hasta ahora, este diseño y el ke vi cuando la vi por primera vez son mis favoritos. Ah! y me gusta mucho este personaje, pero no porque se suponga ke es española como yo... antes de saberlo ya me gustaba y fue una sorpresa averiguar ke Mariposa era de mi mismo pais ^.-

sobre el dibujo
bien, me llevo sobre los 3 dias acabarlo... lo dibuje en un par de horitas este fin de semana cuando no tenia ke trabajar. me llevo sobre una hora entintarlo y un poco mas de un dia y medio para cgearlo y crear el fondo... mientras entintaba en open canvas mi tableta se rompio, asi que lo tube ke entintar en el "mundo real". asi que ocmo es mi segundo intento en entintar con mi "lapiz pincel" (que fui capaz de encontrar garacias a calaveraspain ^.- gracias tio!). mi primer intento fue mi dibujo de navidades (pero no lo subi ni aki ni en sheezyart, asi ke no lo busqueis en mi cuenta), y tengo ke decir que tenia muchas dudas en intentarlo otra vez... por suerte el resultado fue mejor de lo ke esperaba, en comparacion con los lineart ke solia hacer con los rotrings... realmente creo ke intentare entintar mas dibujos con mi lapiz-pincel!(en realidad lo tendre ke hacer, porke no puedo entinitar demasiado bien con raton ^^U me llevaria siglos!)
realmente olvide ke doloroso podia ser cgear con raton... realmente, ahora ke no puedo usar mi tableta, puedo ver lo utli ke era... de todas formas me fue muy util, y aunke me compre otra intentare arreglarla tambien ^^
cree el fondo con photoshop tambien. la luna fue muy sencillita, solo nuves y el filtro esferizar, de hecho el cielo fue bastatne facilillo... use un fondo simlilar en mi ultimo dibujo cgeado, el del angel, y es porque tengo un wallpaper con un fondo de ese estilo... me encanto y lo he intentado emular en mi estilo con photoshop, pero es muy dificil! lo intentare mas la proxima vez ^^
