English Now it comes... exam times, and that means... I get inspired to draw! lol. I drew this one this weekend, because I feel like it, and also to celebrate that I get all the emblems in sonic adventure battle 2 (gamecube version. I already had all of them in dreamcast when it was released version, so I just play time by time to gamecube one. this weekend I just choosed to get all that they were left XD)
Sonic, Shadow, Metal-Sonic and Amy are (c) of sega and sonic team
I must say, when I saw the thumbnail for this, I was not expecting much. Maybe I've just been conditioned to be leery about less colorful work, or something like that. But, the sort of rough, sketchy feel of the drawing fits well with that simple blue stripe background. The gradient on the lines that goes from purple to blue is a really nice touch. I like the poses you put them in, especially Amy's. Overall the characters have a very nice aspect of dimension to them, which makes them look like they're going to just pop off the page. I only have one small quip about this piece, and that's that something looks a little off about Shadow's hand. It looks like it's been attached kinda funny and it's a little flat. But really, it has no impact on the piece. I think this is a good piece of work.
first time in dreamcast it was a hell to get all of them. second time in gamecube... well it was easier, but not a lot xD. but I didnt centered into getting all of them as I did in dremcast ^^
anyway was pretty hard. gotta hate the car stages in that game xP
You;re very good with mimicking this style. The neat thing is, it still has your style to it. The only thing i would say you need to work on are the hands. The hands look a little bit flat in this image. But besides that, very very good. I am impressed with the balance of their eyes. I have trouble seeing when my drawings are crooked.
Congratulations for getting all of the emblems and you have done a great job here.Would like to see it coloured eventually but I better let you study for your exams first so good luck.
thank you vdry much. Actually this was a second try, the first try was a failure, so I had to repeat it. the eyes arent that good, I must improve some things xP
hands are a pain to draw. I have to tell that I rushed them in order to post this yesterday, but anyway, I must admit that even when I try at 100% they dont look a lot better. I must train more in them!
By the way, this was the piccie I talk you about XD
